The source of the display was a solar wind stream that hit Earth late on July 20th,
rattling Earth's magnetic field and producing a storm of magnitude 5 on the 0-to-9 Kindex scale of geomagnetic activity.
Another solar wind stream is due on July 26th.

For about an hour after the primate passed away on Thursday, the 19 chimpanzees, who share the enclosure, virtually closed ranks, surrounding her body in a poignant gesture of shared heartache.

Chimps are much more connected with "source" then we are (in the western world) ... They mourn for a short period of time, knowing all is well ...
