WILL YOU PLEASE HELP PARLIAMENT SQUARE PROTESTER BRIAN HAW WHEN HE NEEDS IT MOST?
Brian has been protesting 24/7 outside the Houses of Parliament since 2001 to constantly highlight the slaughter and suffering of children killed and maimed by the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the horrors visited upon them by depleted uranium.
For this extraordinary commitment, he has been beaten up many times by thugs and police (too often the same thing), and arrest, abuse and threats have become a way of life. The Blair government even passed new laws to remove him, but they couldn't make them retrospective and so he stayed.

RARE LUNAR ECLIPSE:
The lunar eclipse of Dec. 21st falls on the same date as the northern winter solstice. Is this rare?
It is indeed, according to Geoff Chester of the US Naval Observatory, who inspected a list of eclipses going back 2000 years.
DRAGON STORM: Saturn's great "Dragon Storm" has returned.
The ferocious thunderstorm observed for years by NASA's Cassini spacecraft has recently been hiding under high clouds, but now it is showing itself again. Using an 11-inch Celestron telescope, Christopher Go of the Philippines photographed the white tempest on Dec. 13th:

WikiLeaks' Assange says fears U.S. extradition
Maybe fears that he will get the same 'treatment' as Bradley Manning, and others, who oppose the USA govt.
Wake up, USA isn't the promised land, they are worse than china and russia all together, concerning human rights...
"The risk we have always been concerned about is onward extradition to the United States and that seems to be increasingly serious and increasingly likely," Assange told reporters in the sprawling grounds of the house in eastern England where he must spend Christmas and New Year.
