New World Order: Still A Conspiracy Theory?
Despite the fact that the term 'new world order' was mentioned in connection with the G20 this week hundreds of times by both global leaders and in news reports, it is still regarded as a 'conspiracy theory' by that bastion of truthiness, Wikipedia.

In international relations theory, the term "new world order" refers to a new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power. However, in conspiracy theory, the term "New World Order" (the capital letters are distinguishing) refers to the advent of a cryptocratic or totalitarian world government.

NY county ban on baby bottle chemical is official Canada announced in October it was banning BPA in baby bottles, becoming the first country to restrict sale of the chemical, which is commonly used in the lining of food cans, eyeglass lenses and hundreds of household items.

The possibility that millions of baby pacifiers and other plastic infant goods may contain a cancer-causing chemical has caused no panic among South Florida parents, physicians or sellers of baby accessories. A report issued earlier this week by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in Washington disclosed that laboratory rats and mice developed liver cancer when fed large doses of the chemical, known as DEHP.

Antarctic ice shelf near final collapse
European Space Agency scientists have been closely watching the ice shelf, named after Australian aviator Hubert Wilkins, since March last year when it suddenly lost 570 square kilometres of ice in what US glaciologists called a "runaway disintegration".
