OBAMA: a wolf in snake-clothes (or vice versa):
Afghan unrest will rise in 2009: US military chief
The United States is sending an additional 21,000 troops to Afghanistan to join some 38,000 already deployed there.
President Barack Obama is to decide later in the year whether to approve the deployment of a further 10,000 troops, US officials said earlier this month.

Mindcontrolling the people, with FEAR:
Warming target 'will not be met'
ALMOST nine out of 10 climate scientists do not believe political efforts to restrict global warming to 2 degrees will succeed, according to a British poll. An average rise of 4-5 degrees by the end of this century is more likely, they say, given soaring carbon emissions and political constraints.
Such a change would disrupt food and water supplies, exterminate thousands of species of plants and animals and trigger massive sea level rises that would swamp the homes of hundreds of millions of people.

Bisphenol A (BPA) Contaminating Our Food - with video
Bisphenol A is found in most plastic food containers today. Not only is it found in plastic containers, but also in the lining of most cans. BPA is essentially a synthetic estrogen that enters the body when one consumes food or beverages out of plastic or plastic-lined containers. This is not only harmful to the male reproductive system, but has been found to also stimulate breast cancer growth in women.
Knowing this, it should be of no surprise that the sperm count of the average Western male is on a steady decline as many males are becoming more and more feminine. What most people don't know is that Bisphenol A was actually considered as the form of estrogen to be used in estrogen pills going back to the 1930's.

The SO-CALLED war on PIRATES:
You are being lied to about pirates
Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah, the U.N. envoy to Somalia, tells me: "Somebody is dumping nuclear material here. There is also lead and heavy metals such as cadmium and mercury - you name it."
Much of it can be traced back to European hospitals and factories, who seem to be passing it on to the Italian mafia to 'dispose' of cheaply. When I asked Ould-Abdallah what European governments were doing about it, he said with a sigh: "Nothing. There has been no cleanup, no compensation and no prevention."
One of the pirate leaders, Sugule Ali, said their motive was "to stop illegal fishing and dumping in our waters ... We don't consider ourselves sea bandits. We consider sea bandits (to be) those who illegally fish and dump in our seas and dump waste in our seas and carry weapons in our seas."

Case of stolen online identity
The threats to users on social networking sites arrive through a variety of avenues. Some users have their identity compromised via phishing sites that fool them into revealing their logon credentials.
Other users click an email or website link that leads them to a web page that installs malicious software and collects their personal data. In some cases criminals become "friends" and check a user's profile in the hope of guessing a password.

The Monday InspirationPeak
On Tuesday ... what is TIME anyway?
Life always gives us exactly the teacher we need at every moment.
This includes every mosquito,
every misfortune,
every red light,
every traffic jam,
every obnoxious supervisor (or employee),
every illness, every loss,
every moment of joy or depression,
every addiction,
every piece of garbage,
every breath.
Every moment is the Guru.
