A : Let's talk about addictions, habits, yes?
Q : Yes, please, I have trouble with giving up smoking, that is a ADDICTION, am I right?
A: Yes, My Dear, and what about: Coffee, Sex, Alcohol, Drugs, Buying, Repeating the Same Patterns, Getting Angry, PLaying the Victim?
Q : OH, yes, that too. I gues I am ONE big ADDICTION and HABIT?!!?
A: You see it now, that is good! Let us help you?
Q : Yes please, HOW can I stop smoking, to take one habit out of this all?
A: OK, to STOP maybe is not the way to approach things. First you need to see what you are doing.
Feel it. Experience it. Ask yourself why. See yourself making up ALL kinds of thoughts like : I cannot stop, I am weak.
I don't have to quit smoking etc. I cannot do this on my own. I will get fat. etc
FEAR, my dear, FEAR is what is BEHIND it.
Can you see that now?
Q : Yes, and beginning to feel it too!
A: ALL these THINKINGS and FEARS will get you away from living in the MOMENT OF NOW.
See it?
Q : YES! Wow, I see it!
And then, my next question is: AND NOW WHAT?
Because I Still smoke.
A : AH, see? Hu-man makes THOUGHTS in just a split second!
OKAY, here is your answer:You JUST step in the NOW and let go.
Everytime you see yourself THINKING say: I AM NOW, I AM.
In the NOW there ONLY IS.
IS
No thoughts
IS
