Under look and key: PC iris scanner security device set to go on the market in months

The device will allow users to log into their online banking, social networks and emails - all in the blink of an eye.

Hoyos Group unveiled their new security product, dubbed the EyeLock, at the Finovate financial technology conference, amid claims that it is the first and only portable iris-scanning device for consumers.

The device, which is the size of a standard business card and weighs about 4oz, connects to the user's computer by a USB cable.

Spanish quake kills 10, topples buildings

The tremor struck at 6:47pm (2.47am AEST) with a depth of 10 kilometres and could be felt in the capital Madrid. It hit nearly two hours after a smaller 4.4-magnitude quake.

A 5.2-MAGNITUDE quake has killed 10 people in southern Spain, toppling buildings and sending panicked residents fleeing into the streets.

Vanuatu hit by 7.1 magnitude earthquake

Vanuatu, which lies between Fiji and Australia, is in the "Pacific Ring of Fire," a zone of frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions that encircles the basin of the Pacific Ocean.

The undersea quake that hit Tuesday at 7:55 p.m. local time was 16.5 miles deep and centered 171 miles south of the island capital Port Vila, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
