Japan shaken by quake after more evacuations urged
The magnitude 7.0 aftershock, which trapped some people in collapsed homes, came just hours after residents bowed their heads and wept in ceremonies to mark a month since a massive earthquake and tsunami killed up to 25,000 people and set off radiation leaks at the nuclear plant by knocking out its cooling systems.

Colonel Gaddafi 'agrees to deal to end the bloodshed in Libya'
Government troops launch surprise attack on rebel forces in Ajdabiya
Colonel Gaddafi has accepted a [OE]road map[base '] to end the bloodshed in Libya in what could be a major step towards peace, the South African president said last night.
The dictator is believed to have agreed to the measures after hours of negotiations with fellow African leaders at his Bab al-Aziziyah compound in Tripoli last night.
