Colonel Gaddafi 'agrees to deal to end the bloodshed in Libya'

Government troops launch surprise attack on rebel forces in Ajdabiya Colonel Gaddafi has accepted a [OE]road map[base '] to end the bloodshed in Libya in what could be a major step towards peace, the South African president said last night.
The dictator is believed to have agreed to the measures after hours of negotiations with fellow African leaders at his Bab al-Aziziyah compound in Tripoli last night.
