Dino crater focus for ocean drilling plans

Chicxulub, in Mexico, was carved out by the asteroid strike that killed off the dinosaurs 65 (11) million years ago.

The Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) also plans expeditions to study earthquakes and ancient climate, and says the need is greater than ever.

Anyone with the correct LINK to maps or google-earth is welcome ...( I can't find it ...)

Tepco dumps toxic water into sea

The radical step was taken to make room for the more radioactive water that is being pumped out of the No. 2 reactor's turbine building.

The utility also said it plans to release 1,500 tons of radioactive water being stored under the No. 5 and No. 6 reactors, which have been safely shut down.

32 killed in DR Congo plane crash

An airport source, who said she was 10 meters from the plane's wreckage, was quoted by AFP as saying that there were 26 people dead and six seriously injured.
The plane had 29 (11) passengers and three(3) crew on board.

The Monday crash was the first accident involving a plane of the UN mission in the country, known as Monusco, which was set up in 1999.
