Medical chief warns of extremists’ attacking flu vaccination campaign
Extremists are attempting to derail the introduction of a national swine flu vaccination campaign, the country’s top doctor has warned.
Sir Liam Donaldson, the Chief Medical Officer for England, spoke out against protests aimed at deterring people from having the jab.
In one case, a Birmingham hospital had already been flyposted with anti-vaccination messages as its immunisation campaign started.

Fears of swine flu mutation at Haj
The Saudis are concerned because this new strain is the first pandemic flu since 1968.
Any new flu carries the risk of gene-swapping that can form mutant viruses, and this one has some swine and avian genes that, before this April, had never been seen in humans.
Both the new strain and seasonal flu strains will be circulating in the world, increasing the risk of flu strains mixing in Mecca.

Construction robot inspired by sci-fi flick Aliens
JAPANESE engineers have taken us one step closer to the robot revolution by developing a machine inspired by the movie Aliens.
The Dual-Arm Power Amplification Robot gives users superhuman strength and resembles the hydraulic exoskeleton worn by Sigourney Weaver in the climactic scene of the sci-fi classic.
The robot is being developed for disaster relief situations and can lift more than 100kg.
However it weighs 230kg – heavy enough to crush the average human without support.
Chief engineer Go Shirogauchi told news.com.au his team was currently working on a way to make the arms lighter for standalone use.
"Most robot researchers think that robots should move as automatically as possible with very little human instruction," Mr Shirogauchi said.
"What we are developing is a robot which moves only when an instruction is given from a human and moves exactly according to that instruction."

Five deaths in Sweden after swine flu jab tip of the iceberg
The five deaths as well as the 15 cases of hospitalisation reported in Sweden so far due to the swine flu jab are just the tip of the iceberg, Wolfgang Becker-Brüser of arznei-telegramm has said, according to the Kurier.
Gunila Sjöln-Forsberg of the Swedish Medical Agency said that there was no indication that the jabs were responsible, raising concerns that the authorities are covering up.

WHEN is the MEDIA making up their minds? They are vaccinated or not?
Obama girls' vaccine: Favoritism or good example?
With Dad a world leader and Nobel Prize winner, Malia and Sasha Obama surely could have been first in line when vaccinations began for swine flu. They weren't, the White House says. But that hasn't stopped complaints that President Barack Obama's daughters got preferential treatment.
SO? It is the most important answer we need ;-)
Announcing that the girls have been vaccinated "is a great example for all families," said Dr. Judith Palfrey, president of the American Academy of Pediatrics. "It's an important statement about how important vaccines are."
SO, to be vaccinated or not to be vaccinated, that is the question ...
