What are feeds and how do I share them?
RSS-feeds lets
you pull your personal content from other blogs and web services onto
your News Aggregator using RSS (Really Simple Syndication).
This lets
you share all the content you create in one place.
Not sure of the RSS URL?
Follow these steps:
- Go to your other blog or personal web site and look for a little orange button like this:.
This shows that you can syndicate your content via RSS.
- This
clickable button links directly to an RSS file. (The page looks like
raw code, but don't let it scare you!)
- To add the RSS URL to your News Aggregator Feeds module, right-click on
the orange XML button to "Copy Shortcut."
- Or click on the XML button
and use "Ctrl-C" on your keyboard to copy the URL found in the address
bar of your BROWSER.
- Or add the RSS feed for your own podcasts. It's all about your personal content and sharing it.
- Use "Ctrl-V" to paste the URL into the field of your News Aggregator Feeds Module.
- When you're done, click the "Save" button below.
