There's not a word yet for old friends who've just met

no need to fill the air with meaningless drivel
a simple hug and smile will do
it's not in the things u give and take
but in the moments spent together

there's not a place yet
which can be more home than ur heart
a simple yearning for something familiar
only serves to make one comfortable

there's not a feeling yet
that will guide u towards love
not happiness nor peace
nor butterflies in the stomach
to love is to make a commitment

there's not a person yet
who can explain to u what it is
to know the enlightenment of the buddha
this is something u must learn for urself

all these things are already with u
if u'll only allow them to be
