United National Antiwar Conference Action Proposal Submitted by Conference Co-Sponsors
We demand the immediate and total withdrawal of U.S. military forces, mercenaries and contractors from Afghanistan and Iraq. Instead of trillions for wars and occupations, we demand those funds be spent for jobs, health care, education, the environment, infrastructure and other human needs, and that compensation be paid to the peoples whose countries the U.S. attacked and occupied for the loss of lives and massive destruction they suffered.
Be (the) PEACE (you want to be ...)

Spy Incident May Resurrect Cold War Between USA and Russia
Conclusion: Truth or a lie, the episode of the arrest of alleged Russian spies in the United States makes clear that whether in the Kremlin or the White House, there are still powerful people who do not want, at any price, peace among the peoples of the world, especially between Russians and Americans.
According to U.S. officials, most of the supposed spies were originally from Russia and were trained to secretly infiltrate the U.S. and act in order not to be caught. While appearinng to admit that some of the arrested alleged spies are Russian, Moscow dismisses knowledge of any mission of espionage on American soil.

"Arsenic only needs to be a 10th of a part per billion to cause problems."

The toxic truth about mega-farms:
Chemical fumes, distressed animals and poisoned locals driven from their homes and worse
This is a farm where huge quantities of hormones and antibiotics - administered because their miserable, cramped existences make the cattle prone to disease - are hosed away in the gallons of waste which they produce and stored in vast lagoons by the tens of millions of gallon, ready to be sprayed on to local farmland as fertiliser.
