Jet engines can't fly through ashen skies? The very countries whose airspace is shut are playing wargames in the emptied skies

The 10-day long multi-nation naval drill began here on April 12, 2010. It will engage the NATO forces to respond to a number of challenges, including asymmetric or terrorist threats, maritime security operations and embargo operations "in a realistic scenario," a NATO statement said.

Al-Qaeda Chief In Iraq: Captured, Killed, Never Actually Existed, Re-Captured, Now Killed Again

U.S. and Iraqi officials have today announced that two "Al-Qaeda in Iraq" leaders have been killed in an air strike carried out by American troops. A major flaw in the story that seems to have been overlooked, is that both of the men have already been reported captured and killed on several occasions, with U.S. officials also having previously declared one of them a "fictional character" that was invented by the other!

But we ALLreadY kNEW ... that.

European airport start to reopen for flights

The first flights in northern Europe have taken off after five days of inactivity caused by the spread of volcanic ash from Iceland.

Three flights departed from Amsterdam's Schiphol airport late on Monday, bound for New York, Shanghai and Dubai.

Plans to reopen airspace in doubt

After appearing to calm down in the previous 24 hours, raising hopes that the nightmare for passengers and airlines might finally be coming to an end, activity at the Eyjafjallajokull volcano began to increase again late on Monday.

Kalgoorlie rocked by 5.0 quake

Buildings in Kalgoorlie-Boulder were damaged, Australia's largest open-cut mine - the Super Pit - has been evacuated and a teenage receptionist was buried in rubble after an earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit this morning.
