Paper ballots for the 2008 election
This Sunday's cover story in The New York Times Magazine makes plain the threat: The winner of the 2008 presidential election could be decided by flawed, insecure, and hackable electronic voting machines.
This is the most prominent news coverage this issue has ever gotten, so it could be our one last chance to get this right before the election in November.
Congress is poised to consider a new emergency paper ballots bill next week - but we'll have to convince them to act right away.
A compiled petition with your individual comment will be presented to local election officials and your members of Congress.

READY, SET, GO! ... BUT NOT QUITE YET
Food and what we choose to put into our bodies will now change dramatically.
We have reached a vibrational level where we need not be so strict about what we eat if we want to stay healthy and purified.
Simply blessing our food before we eat it or having an intent that only the higher vibrating aspects of the food will enter our systems and sustain us, will be quite enough.
Please Watch This, especially the part of positive thoughts!
And now that we are vibrating so much higher, we need not even have an intent or provide a blessing, as the law of attraction will simply connect us automatically with the higher aspects of what we are consuming. We are at many different levels of vibration individually, so either of the scenarios above may be effective and appropriate.
So then, we need only sit tight for a few more weeks, allow this unusual down time we are currently experiencing to be utilized for some much needed rest, or perhaps a bit of preparation, and know that things will be significantly different in times to come.

Tough talk on Pakistan from Obama
Obama's stance comes amid debate in Washington over what to do about a resurgent al Qaeda and Taliban in areas of northwest Pakistan that President Pervez Musharraf has been unable to control, and concerns that new recruits are being trained there for a September 11-style attack against the United States.
Obama said if elected in November 2008 he would be willing to attack inside Pakistan with or without approval from the Pakistani government, a move that would likely cause anxiety in the already troubled region.
AHA, THAT kind of talk ...

Add kindness
Whatever can be done, can be done more effectively when you add kindness to it. Whatever is said, becomes much more convincing when expressed with genuine kindness.
The kindness in just one moment can have a positive impact that lasts for years and years. Kindness is a gift that keeps giving for a lifetime.
Kindness is not complicated, and it comes naturally when you open your heart to life. Kindness brings new light and hope to the darkest of days.
Act with kindness, and you will have no regrets. Kindness is an easy, modest investment that pays generous dividends in the sense of fulfillment it brings.
Kindness dissolves the pain and speeds the healing. When logic and reason say there is no hope, kindness can pave the way forward.
This day will be brighter when you add kindness to it. Choose kindness, and you're truly choosing to live in a better world.
