However crazy the world seems, you can rest easy in knowing that you won't have to tolerate the situation forever. When you stand at the threshold of your own death it will seem to have gone by in a flash. All the fun and all the fury will dissolve in that single moment. The sum of your actions will come to a singularity. Those who have lived unconsciously serving Ego interests and trying to gain every scrap they can regardless of the effect they have on others will suddenly be hit with the hurt they have caused. Memories will flood in and tears will roll. Even when the body is lying in a heap, the soul will burn with the pain. This is hell.

Cirque du Soleil K A

KA is created and directed by acclaimed theatre and film director Robert Lepage, "Bluebeard's Castle," "The Far Side of the Moon", who describes the story as "the coming of age of a young man and a young woman through their encounters with love, conflict and the duality of KA, the fire that can unite or separate, destroy or illuminate."

The twins' journeys take them through a succession of challenging landscapes and ever-changing performance spaces that conjure an entire empire on stage.

The show's title, KA, is inspired by the ancient Egyptian belief in the "ka," an invisible spiritual duplicate of the body that accompanies every human being throughout this life and into the next.

On this day at the edge of time, in this place of all possibilities, begins an inspired incantation to life rediscovered.

The word varekai means "wherever" in the Romany language of the gypsies the universal wanderers. This production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, to the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and to the infinite passion of those whose quest takes them along the path that leads to Varekai.
