Tropical Storm Noel Awakes The Hurricane Season The storm is very close to the Hispaniola, which has very high mountains that will likely affect the storm in some ways. Hispaniola could be in some trouble with slow moving Tropical Storm Noel, and very heavy rainfall will likely cause deadly flash flooding in the mountains. It doesn't have to be a hurricane to become a killer. Just look at historic storms in the past that have affected the island. Tropical Storm Jeanne back in 2004 was a major killer with flooding before moving on to Florida as a category 3 hurricane. Posted: 8:53:55 PM

Feds strike ID deal over NY licenses The proposed Arizona version would not be available to anyone illegally in the country, since one of the intended uses of the 3-in-1 identity card would be to prove U.S. citizenship, L'Ecuyer said. It could be used as a license, as proof of citizenship and as a passport-like document valid for travel in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. It would be voluntary and available for a small extra fee.
